Children, adolescents, and young adults who value themselves have a positive view of their future are at low risk for drug abuse or addiction.  The Monroe Health Department invites you to attend our speaker event at the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library in Monroe. Elizabeth Driscoll Jorgenson, CADC is a nationally recognized expert in counseling and parenting pre-teens and teenagers. Among numerous awards she received a Congressional Award in 1994 for her work in treatment innovation and prevention. Liz has been on the faculty of Harvard CME for 15 years and presented on issues related to adolescent treatment, recovery, and program development. Click here for more details.
