Tuesday, May 21, the Connecticut Food Bank will add Bridgeport Hospital as one of their monthly mobile food pantry sites.  The mission of Connecticut Food Bank is to provide nutritious food to people in need.  They provide food and resources to a network of programs, such as soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, residential programs that serve adults and children in Fairfield, Litchfield, Middlesex, New Haven, New London and Windham Counties.

The Connecticut Food Bank mobile food pantry truck will be parked behind the Bridgeport Hospital School of Nursing building, 200 Mill Hill Avenue, on the third Tuesday of every month and will distribute food from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM.  This program will be offered to all those in need from the surrounding community.
